Introducing baby boy: Holly Madison shows Forest Leonardo Antonio Rotella in People magazine

Holly Madison is opening up about the birth of her son, Forest Leonardo Antonio, and the “stressful” days that ensued after he was admitted into the neonatal intensive care unit.

Moments after Madison, 36, gave birth to her second child on Aug. 7, the newborn baby was swiftly taken to the NICU where he was hooked up to “a million machines.”

In a PEOPLE exclusive interview, the former Girls Next Door star recalls that medical staff “took him away to get the fluid out of his lungs. First it was the fluid, then it was jaundice, then his eyes weren’t dilating, and I spent hours thinking my baby couldn’t see.”

Madison, who is also mom to 3-year-old daughter Rainbow Aurora and married to 42-year-old events company owner Pasquale Rotella, says the three days after her son’s birth were “stressful.”

But after doctors deemed the now 6-week-old perfectly healthy, Madison and Rotella were able to bring their baby home.

Pregnant with her second baby, Holly Madison enjoys picnic with her daughter Rainbow

I get so happy when I see pictures like this! If Holly knew how much I love when I see her smile, love you my queen!

She is due to give birth to a son this month.

So Holly Madison seized upon the last few bits of alone time she can get with her daughter.

The 36-year-old was photographed this week enjoying a picnic with her firstborn Rainbow in a hot pink maternity dress that stretched over her nine-month baby bump.

Pregnant Holly Madison displays her HUGE bump in tight blue dress while savoring an ice cream cone.

She's due to deliver her second child in August - but it could happen any day now judging by the looks of her. Holly Madison was in no hurry as she savored an ice cream treat during a leisurely stroll in Los Angeles on Monday. The very pregnant former Playboy Playmate, 33, was certainly eye-catching in tight light blue dress that perfectly outlined her large bump.

Something cool and sweet was on top of her to-do list, it would seem, judging by the chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone in her right hand.

Holly stepped along in dark burgundy lace-up booties that set off her pale shins, and her blonde hair was nicely coiffed and allowed to cascade over her shoulders.

Pink lipstick and natural-toned shadows brought out her features and didn't appear mussed even on a warm summer day such as this one. Holly, who is already mom to three-year-old daughter Rainbow Aurora, is expected to deliver a baby boy in August. As she and husband Pasquale Rotella await the birth of their son in just weeks or perhaps days, Holly couldn't be more calm in her composure.

She may have been out for some family fun. But Holly Madison looked fit for a red carpet. The pregnant 36-year-old former Playboy playmate was spotted heading to Jessica Biel's new business venture Au Fudge in the West Hollywood on Thursday. She was accompanied by her husband Pasquale Rotella and their three-year-old daughter Rainbow Aurora at the family friendly restaurant.

Rainbow’s turning 2 — and it’s time for a very special kind of pizza party!

The former Girls Next Door star posted multiple Instagram photos on Thursday, one being a screencap from her 2013 E! TV special, Holly Has a Baby. The photo, captioned, “Two years ago!!!!” shows Madison and Rotella fawning over baby Rainbow after she was just born 

The beautiful blue-eyed toddler got a special cake in the shape of her favorite character, the famous meme, PizzaCat. The three-tiered birthday cake was made to look like a pizza, with PizzaCat sitting at the top.  

''I can not believe it's been two years since the arrival of the Rainbow world! I dream a lot from one day by chance or fate would be strolling through disneyland and find them there and be able to give a big hug to my princess and queen! Love you so much both. Holly Madison dresses up as a Disney princess every Halloween.

And this year it seems the mother-of-one is passing down her love of the hit movie Frozen to her one-year-old daughter Rainbow Aurora.

During a recent trip to a Las Vegas pumpkin patch, the duo wore matching Elsa costumes as the 34-year-old star donned a complete replica of the popular character.

Holly, who married husband Pasquale Rotella at the Disneyland Resort in September 2013, got into festive spirit as she wore a sequined blue gown complete with trademark Elsa hair braid.

The longtime Disney fanatic was seen playing with goats and carrying around pumpkins as Rainbow Aurora followed closely behind her.

Her mini-me was dressed in a store-bought costume to coordinate with her mum even wearing a toy crown on the top of head.

The pair looked to be in good spirits as they celebrated at the play area together.

Rainbow was even spotted adorably licking some of the smaller gourds with her tongue and putting them in her mouth.

Missing from the happy family outing was Pasquale who is currently busy working in Southern California.

In the past, Holly has dressed up as every Disney princess imaginable.

During her former days as Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's girlfriend, she opted to dress up as sexy versions of Jasmine from the movie Aladdin and Tinkerbell from Peter Pan.

Since then she has gotten a bit conservative wearing full length dresses of Princess Aurora and Rapunzel from Tangled.

Good afternoon! 

Since yesterday I was trying to make a new cover for my pages dedicated to Aurora. My desire was to create a beautiful cover, with photo and I can not use photoshop, so I created this custom temporary cover with Rainbow at drawing, and found that even simple, was one cuteness! 

I've always been a big fan of Holly Madison, and when the Rainbow was born, gave me such a strong desire to create a place where I could leave fans of Holly upgraded that as I now follow the growth of her first daughter.

Hoje é um dia muito especial, nem dá para acreditar arco-íris é de 365 dias de hoje! Um ano se passou e mais colorido na vida de Holly e Pasquale. Lembro-me até hoje como eu estava ansioso para esse dia chegar, e depois que ela nasceu, eu não podia esperar para ver a cara dele e foi quando eles deixaram as suas primeiras fotos públicas. Agora imagine como devem ser todos felizes e se divertindo com o bebê mais lindo que eu já vi. Hoje, como uma das fadas madrinhas da princesa Aurora, quero desejar a este bebê que sorri, mesmo sem conhecer pessoalmente já o amo tanto! Feliz aniversário, baby-íris Aurora Rotella!

Rainbow goes with his parents to Sundance Film Festival 2014

Holly Madison added some much needed sparkle to the cold slopes of Park City, Utah on Friday.

The Las Vegas staple was in town to support husband Pasquale Rotella, an executive producer for a new documentary premiering at the Sundance Film Festival. 

The 34-year-old former Playboy pinup - who glowed in a navy blue ensemble at the TR Suites lounge sponsored by Cat Footwear that included a sequined skirt - also had with her daughter Rainbow Aurora, aged 10 months.

Holly Madison arrived to the Talent Resources suites with 9 month old daughter Rainbow. Strolling Rainbow into the suite Holly grew overwhelmed by the crowd and cameras flashing lights at the stroller, she walked out and left her hubby inside to choose a winter jacket by Sean Jean.

The former E! reality star held Pasquale's hand as they navigated through the crowd. 

He carried their daughter, who looked quite conspicuous in a hot pink hooded onesie with only one blue and purple polka dotted shoe.
